Rest In Peace
I can't articulate the words of thanks that John Paul II truly deserves; may he rest in peace.
I have been very busy lately. Namely, this has been taking away a lot of my time. I'm helping my wife train for the Marine Corps Marathon and this race made me proud (8:28 pace!)
At around the 4 mile mark I overheard two women saying "We're running for the Pope today." "El Papa," the other replied. It reminded me of a funny screw-up where a t-shirt maker tried to sell shirts (translated into english) that said "I saw the potato" in commemoration of John Paul II's visit to Miami.
Karol Wojtyla was a good potato.
(FYI: el Papa = the Pope, la papa = the potato)
