Despair!
I thought I'd write about this subject since its not getting much media attention.
Bush v Choice has some dumb comments. In light of that, I'm coming to rely on Illuminaria's Voice for some intelligent commentary:
I must say that I'm ignorant of how a pharmacy is run. Are they legally required to sell every drug on the market and fulfill every request? If they are, it seems more like a pseudo government agency rather than an actual business.
Can someone (perferably a pharmacist) enlighten me?

I’d like to know what we have come to in this country when we try to force people to do something they think is immoral. Let a pharmacist be treated with dignity, as a real person with valid morals, instead of a pill dispenser. If our hypothetical woman wants her privacy respected, then she can go to another pharmacist. (Not that I really see how it’s disrespecting her privacy to not sell her something.)I can't really say it better than that. Regardless of how you feel about the morality of selling a certain item, should the government be able to force you to sell something?
